Vice President & Learning Officer - HigherEdJobs

The individual selected to serve in this newly created role will be responsible for leading the Learning Academy and developing an
integrated learning strategy aligned to the institution's strategic plan. The Learning Academy will coordinate existing education, training
and employee development resources and programming to leverage the resources across the entire organization. The Learning Academy will
provide the organization with highly-effective, and technologically-advanced employee development, education, consulting, and training to
support the operating goals, mission, vision, values, and strategic plan while enhancing individual, team and organizational effectiveness.
  • Implement initiatives and activities that encourage continuous learning among employees at every level
  • Develop and evaluate employee development programs and ensure they have a beneficial impact on service delivery
  • Ensure programs are developed and delivered in a way that reinforces the organization's core values, philosophy, institutional strategy, and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with HR and Business Partners to ensure all products, services, programs and other content focused activities maintain fidelity to defined outcome goals
  • Coach, encourage, motivate, and guide individuals and teams in learning and improving effectiveness
  • Design and establish innovative education programs that leverage the benefits of technology
  • Encourage, motivate and guide individuals and teams in learning and improving effectiveness
  • Align programs with established best practices, both within and outside of the healthcare industry, emphasize the need to establish core competencies at each leadership level
  • Review program effectiveness versus established benchmarks and refine the process, as needed
  • Contribute to operational, tactical, succession, and strategic planning in support of the company's business plan
  • Regularly evaluate the organization's requirements for future leadership talent and assess the degree to which the organization will be able to meet needs internally
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in developing and evaluating employee development programs, setting strategic learning direction, and measuring outcomes/results in a multisite organization
  • Knowledge of instructional design, curriculum and content development, multimodal methods of training delivery, learning platforms, evaluation, succession planning, and performance support
  • Proven builder with leadership capabilities and implementation skills that promote team cohesion and drive initiatives from start to completion
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing positive cultural change that has had lasting impact on an organization
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience
