Cat Yoga: Feline Tries To Get Physical When Human Leaves The Room (PHOTO)

Animals are no strangers to exercise, and pets can make for the perfect work out partner. Now, cats are apparently tackling yoga.

The photo below was uploaded by a Reddit user who said their friend left her cat alone with yoga equipment. When she came back, the feline apparently attempted to get fit with the help of an instructional exercise video.

Let's hope he's mentally prepared for downward-facing dog.

Posted Saturday June 29, 2013 7:00 PM GMT

She?s been out of the public eye since giving birth on June 15, but on Saturday (June 29), Kim Kardashian resurfaced in a snapshot taken by her sister Khloe.

The new mom to baby North is shown sleeping soundly, wrapped in a blanket next to her sis?s boxer puppy, with her little one not in sight.

Though Kim?s baby daddy Kanye West has been out since the baby?s arrival, Kim has been staying at home and focusing on bonding with her little girl.

Meanwhile, proud grandmother Kris Jenner told reporters at an event for Genlux Magazine her granddaughter is doing great and looks like both of her parents.

Kris gushed, "She's great! She's beautiful, and amazing, happy and healthy."

What Makes Up Your Credit Card? | Bankrate.com

credit cards

Credit Cards ? What Makes Up Your Credit Card?

    • Issuer logo: This is the issuing bank's logo. The bank extends the credit on the card, while the payment network -- such as Visa or MasterCard -- processes the transactions. American Express and Discover are issuers and payment networks.
    • EMV chip: EMV stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa. Account details are stored on this microchip and communicated to the checkout computer at purchase. The chip encrypts transaction data uniquely each time it's used to make counterfeiting cards harder. This is not on all credit cards.
    • Issuer identification number: The first six numbers identify the credit card issuer. For example, MasterCard credit card numbers always start with a 5. Visa cards start with a 4.
    • Account number: This randomly generated number can contain up to 12 numbers. Each issuer can create a trillion possible account numbers.
    • Check digit: The last digit on the card number verifies the initial numbers. Based on a mathematical algorithm, this check digit makes it more difficult for criminals to make up card numbers. It also helps prevent errors when the number is recorded manually.
    • Expiration date: The date, typically the month and year, shows how long a card is valid. The expiration date also helps prevent fraud at checkout and is required by payment network rules. For cards with just month and year, the card is valid until the last day of that month.
    • Name: The first and last name of the cardholder will appear on a personal credit card. Authorized users often get cards with their own names.
    • Payment network logo: This logo identifies which payment network is processing the transactions -- Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
    • Customer service number: If your card is missing or stolen or you have questions about your account, this is the number to call.
    • Magnetic stripe: The magnetic stripe consists of up to three tracks and contains all the information that is physically found on the card. The first and second tracks contain the basic account information to complete a purchase. The third track is a read/write track where information can be stored or added, but it is rarely used. It can include an encrypted personal identification number, country code, currency units and authorized amount.
    • Hologram: The 3-dimensional hologram helps differentiate real cards from fake ones.
    • Signature: Payment network rules require a signature. The signature on the card allows merchants to claim the transaction was verified and potentially shifts fraud liability to the bank.
    • CSV: This number typically helps reduce fraud when the credit card is not present, such as with online purchases. Most CSV numbers contain three digits and are found on the back, next to the signature. American Express uses a four-digit number, which is placed on the front of the card above the account number.
    • Service disclaimer: This disclaimer means that by using the card, you agree to its terms and conditions.

Ever wonder what goes into creating a new credit card? All those numbers, logos and holograms aren't random. In fact, the bulk of a credit card's features are designed to combat fraudulent use and counterfeit cards. Bankrate identifies every feature and what each one does.

The woods have secrets on 'The Killing'

Linden is contemplating her feelings for Holder.

You know a series is really starting to get good when you?re finding it harder and harder to narrow it down to only three must-see moments in an episode, but this week?s episode of ?The Killing? offered a full-fledged OMG moment even before the opening credits began to roll, closed with another one and offered several more eyebrow-raising incidents between.

Girl meets car
It?s rough enough just being a teenage driver, but imagine having an already-bloodied girl run out of the woods and in front of your car. This horrifying moment sets off the major story line of the episode, with the victim doing her best to shrug off the effects of the accident and continuing to run for her life, thereby sending Linden and Holder on a quest to find her, one that leads them to another biohazard bag, a severed finger, a trail of blood heading in the direction of the shelter for wayward teens, and ? in short order ? another team-up with the ever-spunky Bullet. Before episode?s end, the girl is found and, although her identity isn?t confirmed, we at least discover that it isn?t Kallie. But what lingers longest is the girl?s scream when she opens her eyes. Whatever happened in those woods, she won?t be forgetting it anytime soon.

Worst. Valentine's Day. EVER.
Up to this point, most of Bullet?s bonding has been with Holder. Indeed, the two get a very sweet scene at the end of this week?s episode as well, but when she and Linden share some time alone in the car, smoking and shooting the breeze, her questions about what?s going on between Linden and her partner clearly cause Linden to contemplate her feelings for Holder. After an awkward encounter back at the station with Skinner?s wife, reminding her of the affair she had with her former partner, Linden apparently makes the spontaneous decision to have history repeat itself by knocking on Holder?s front door. Bad call: His girlfriend, Caroline, is there. Even worse, though, is the fact that Caroline soon drops a bombshell that clearly neither Linden or Holder realized: It?s Valentine?s Day. Still, you?ve got to give Holder credit for thinking on his feet and asking Caroline, ?You know I celebrate on Feb. 15 ?cause it?s less commercial, right?"

A tale of two mothers
Grace Zabriskie returned as the mouthy motel owner who ? as viewers discover in short order ? is actually Joe Mills? mother. ?He?s a young soul, that?s why all those kids love him,? she assures Linden and Holder, who promptly execute a search warrant on Danielle Lutz?s house, having learned that Joe?s mama has been calling him there. Although he?s conveniently absent during their visit, the information they provide Danielle about her beau coupled with the missed call she received from Kallie?s phone in the wee hours of the morning finally succeed in turning her into a worried mother and send her onto the streets to search for her daughter. It?s still not enough to turn her against Joe, however, so she meets him for another rendezvous, but she can?t resist trying Kallie one more time while he?s in the shower. When her daughter?s phone rings in Joe?s bag, she realizes that she?s made a terrible mistake. And given that Joe emerges from behind her as it?s still ringing, there?s a very good chance it could be the last mistake she ever makes.

Calvin Klein man for next summer an urban dreamer

MILAN (AP) ? The Calvin Klein man for next summer is an urban dreamer, contemplating his horizons and even the cosmos.

The collection for next summer presented Sunday on the second day of Milan Fashion Week keeps men in their comfort zone, with a solid focus on basics in reassuring blues. There are bomber jackets, suits with cuffed pants and classic shirts.

Designer Italo Zucchelli offers up monochromatic looks for next summer in blues: wake-up royal, soothing sky and down-to-business Navy. Classic double-pocket snap-close shirts are paired with same-color pants that cuff at the ankle. They in turn are worn with a shoe of the matching color and same-color socks ? none of the black socks seen on other runways.

Bomber jackets come in white with classic blue vertical stripes, perfect for a day at the ballpark.

On the more daring end of the spectrum, sweatshirts are made of a funky mix of fabrics: One had a neoprene effect, another was chunky knit and finally there were cotton panels. Together, they create a harmonious clash fitting of the heavy metal riffs that down along the runway.

Wrapping up the look: a series of sloping shoulder shirts and sweatshirts with prints of the sky in all its glorious phases; a daytime blue sky filled with fluffy clouds, another at sunset and a star-filled night.

Each includes a door-shaped panel. Some show another sky ? it's unclear whether it's a forecast or the past. Another is dark, and open for interpretation.

The collection is for the urban dweller, one whose view of the sky may be otherwise crowded by buildings. He of course would have little need for shorts as active-wear, and there are none in this collection.

Hisense Sero 7 Pro Review

Sero 7 Pro

An unbelievably low-priced tablet that manages to top Google's own Nexus 7 in the specs department — but is it good enough to justify a purchase this late in the game?

One of the most important factors for any device — especially 7-inch tablets — is price. It's not uncommon to hear that if something is twice the price, it should be twice as good to justify that price. When looking at the $149 Sero 7 Pro, it begs the question: are other tablets that cost an additional $50, $100, or more, that much better than Hisense's new offering?

Many potential buyers no doubt passed up this tablet completely, not recognizing the manufacturer and immediately labeling it a "no name" Chinese Android tablet. Those who frequent Android forums, on the other hand, have likely heard the buzz created by the popularity of this new budget tablet.

The question becomes — even at this price — is it worth it? With specs that match or beat the immensely popular Nexus 7 in almost even area, and at $50 cheaper, it would seem like a no-brainer. Are the improvements over the 11 month old Nexus 7 enough to bring the Sero 7 Pro up to today's spec standards? If not, does the price merit a purchase anyway? How does Hisense's hardware stack up in the quality department?

Keep on keepin' on for our full review.

Jon Gosselin: I live in the woods now

Celebs

Jon Gosselin in 2012.

Once Jon Gosselin lived in a large house in Pennsylvania and his life unrolled on television in front of millions. Now, the dad of eight lives "in the woods," and says he doesn't even have an address.

Gosselin didn't clarify exactly where or how he lives, but he confirmed to VH1's "The Gossip Table" that he's taken to a more private life after living in an apartment where paparazzi and others "figured out where I was."

Gosselin, then-wife Kate, and their twins and sextuplets starred on "Jon and Kate Plus 8" for five seasons before divorcing. The show continued as "Kate Plus 8" despite Jon Gosselin suing to prevent filming of his children.

Gosselin was asked if Kim Kardashian and Kanye West should allow their newborn daughter, North, to appear on the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and unsurprisingly, he didn't think so.

"I wanted to raise my kids off television, so I changed my mind," he said. "So I would definitely not film with my newborn child."

Gosselin was also asked if he still wore Ed Hardy clothing, the brand he favored at the height of his tabloid fame in 2009. He said no, adding "I gave all my (Hardy clothing) to my mother." Tattoo artist Hardy recently told the New York Post that an association with Gosselin "tanked" his clothing brand.

He also said he'd be interested in appearing on "Dancing With the Stars," as his ex-wife Kate Gosselin famously did in 2010. She was the fourth celebrity eliminated on the show's tenth season, and partner Tony Dovolani later joked he needed "a lot of therapy" after partnering with her.

"I feel like I could probably get further than her," Jon Gosselin said.
