Registrants for Triple Play 2012 have the opportunity to gain access to: the industry?s most prominent speakers; the latest products and services at the Trade Expo; networking and referral opportunities; and much more.
Several Pennsylvania Realtors? are speaking at this year?s convention on topics including mobile technology, online marketing, social media and effective writing.
Realtor? Peter Lamandre of Scranton will offer an introduction to the Apple family of products and how Realtors? can integrate Apple into their business with his session iPad, iPhone, iCloud, iDon?t Know. ?Let?s face it, we live in a mobile world and we are in the process of breaking free from the tethered life of the PC,? Lamandre said.
?Many agents buy technology because it is the ?next cool thing? or ?because everyone else does? but few truly utilize the technology to its limits and never fully realize the benefit of their investment,? he added. ?The goal with this session is to move the needle and help agents realize the full potential of the devices while helping them close deals.
Realtor? Anne Rubin from Elkins Park will offer her CE session How to Structure a Lease Purchase. ?Lease purchases are becoming a more popular tool for moving some of the oversupply of houses on the market today,? Rubin said. ?Many potential buyers could have the ability to purchase a house if given the opportunity to apply a portion of their monthly rental payments to an escrow account in order to accumulate monies for down payment and settlement costs.
Agents need to understand how to structure a lease purchase that will protect and benefit the clients they are representing,? she added. ?After taking the course, agents will understand how to present a lease purchase to their clients, what the benefits and downfalls are and how to structure the agreement with a separate lease.?
Realtor? Chris Beadling of Doylestown will offer a quick overview of mobile marketing for Realtors? in his session Moving Beyond QR: A Guide to Mobile Marketing. ?Many real estate professionals are just starting to see the value in using their phones to leverage the Internet and are unsure what technologies are out there,? said Beadling. ?My hope is people will hear about some tools they may have never known before and realize that mobile marketing is more than just scanning boxes. People will learn that there are tools available even easier to use than Q.R. which are free and offer much more in terms of agent utility and mobility.
