I received a No Registration ticket last June. I was unable to afford to pay for it so I sold my car. The court appearance date on the ticket was listed as the date it was written. Because of this I missed my court date. I was scheduled another for 6 months down the road and I missed it. I scheduled a third that is set for September, however if I do not pay the $993 fine my license will be suspended and I have to wait to Sept. to go to court. I recently realized that the court system has mispelled my last name on all of the mail and form I have gotten from them. I've heard this will void the ticket? If this is true what do I need to do? How can my license not be suspended, not pay the fine and not wait til Sept to get this figured out?

Sorry but you heard incorrectly. Just because your name was accidentally misspelled will not get you out of this mess. The only way to keep your license from getting suspended is to pay the fine.
